Training At Ashbrooke
"Over the years, my love for dogs and focus on breeding sound, confident temperaments has naturally grown into a passion for training. I’ve seen first-hand how much happier and more relaxed dogs (and owners!) can be when there’s clear, kind communication, and that’s what I want to help others achieve.
As I complete my Cert IV in Animal Behaviour and Training through the Delta Institute, I’m excited to announce that I will start offering force-free, reward-based training here at Ashbrooke.
These programs will be designed to support every stage of your dog’s journey, from setting up good foundations with puppies to building focus and confidence in older dogs.
Training at Ashbrooke will focus on creating understanding and partnership between you and your dog, using science-backed, positive methods that make learning enjoyable for both of you.
We’ll be offering training not only to our Ashbrooke families who take home puppies, but also to anyone who wants to strengthen their bond and communication with their dog. Whether you’re just starting out with a new puppy or looking to bring out the best in an older companion, there’s a place for you here.

Our Services
A small, supportive weekly class for puppies under 4 months of age, focusing on early socialisation, confidence building, and introducing the basics of good manners and obedience in a fun, positive way.
Junior Puppy Class
A small weekly class for young dogs between 6 and 18 months of age, focusing on navigating the challenges of adolescence. We’ll work on building focus, managing common problem behaviours, and strengthening communication between you and your dog.
Adolescence Puppy Class
One-on-one sessions tailored to you and your dog’s individual needs. Whether you’re working on specific behaviour challenges, refining training skills, or just wanting some personalised guidance, these sessions allow us to focus entirely on your goals and progress at your own pace.
Private Consulation
A private session for you and up to two dogs, focusing on developing herding skills with livestock. Suitable for dogs at a beginner or intermediate level, these sessions aim to build control, confidence, and understanding in a calm, supportive environment.
Herding Dog Lesson
